At Baraka Forest we are very passionate about watching new life sprout from a tiny seed, root itself in the soil, and, with proper nourishment, turn into a beautiful alive creature. Over the years of developing a syntropic agroforestry system on our farm, we’ve made a selection of species that work especially well in the local climate conditions. The list includes trees and plants that can tolerate the heavy winds of winter storms, benefit from abundant rains and mild temperatures throughout the year, and that grow well together as complementary parts of a healthy system, providing both harvest and soil regeneration.
